HomePod, Apple's new Smart Speaker.

Apple welcomes a new member of its family, Homepod, the wireless speaker. It is now available to order online from January 26 in the US, UK, and Australia. It is arriving at your nearest apple store on February 9, 2017. Homepod will be primarily driven by Siri. The intelligent personal assistant has gained deep knowledge by understanding the music taste buds of users. With Siri, Homepod can even handle phone calls. It seems you can easily transfer phone calls from iPhone to Homepod using Handoff. Even you can send messages just using your voice. It does not end here. VIVO unveiled the world's first smartphone with an on-screen fingerprint scanner at CES 2018

The first phone to have integrated fingerprint sensor inside the display. When you look at the phone and you want to unlock it, then the display turns into fingerprint sensor. It works exactly like the capacitive fingerprint sensor you might have seen on iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, but the difference and the advantage now are that you will still have the fingerprint sensor right at the front where it used to be. If you have no bezels on your phone, then the company have no way to put it, so a lot of companies had to come up with compromises. Samsung's solution was to put it on the back of the smartphone whereas apple solution was to just focus on the touch ID and face unlock entirely as the iPhone-X. Nokia 6 (2018), 2nd Generation is now Official with Snapdragon 630, 4GB RAM.

After a bunch of leaks and rumors, HMD Global has finally announced the new Nokia 6, 2nd Generation, 2018 as its first smartphone of this year. It is the next version to the last year's Nokia 6. China's Suning, has already started taking pre-orders for this phone, and its sale will go live starting January 10, 2017. The 32GB Nokia 6 (2018) variant will be available with a price tag of CNY 1,499 (~ Rs.14,600), and its 64GB variant will be available at a price tag of CNY 1,699 (~ Rs.16,600). Jio Launches "Happy New Year 2018" plans.

Reliance Jio, a fresher in telecom domain has already created a stir in the digital ecosystem with its marketing strategies. Now it is all set to rule 2018 with a bang by launching two prepaid monthly plans. Rightly called "Happy New Year Plan". First one is Rs 199 for 28 days. This plan offers 1.2 Gb 4G data along with free call services per-day. The second one is of Rs 299 for 28 days. This plan offers 2Gb 4G data with free call services per day.
